9th May – Day 28
Its up and out early to Pymble to meet a BDM colleague who Pymble Max Blatto who works with the Construction side of the business – overland conveyers is his thing – 26km long that take mined minerals from the mine to a train depot or ship.
I am still fighting Mowlem Pall Mall for monies owed, which after 8 and a half dedicated years or successful service I cant quite get my head around. £5.5k is a small sum compared to what I have achieved for them – I will be giving no more assistance to the UK, (eg RBS Gogarburn invoices and detail etc), until it is resolved and if necessary will see them in court which will hurt them badly, dirty washing could be damaging…!
I head back to the city to work on Energex and bank of Queensland tender. Then its of to see Ting Tong with Dave, Sarah, Richard and Helen for our first Thai Cookery class. A total giggle with the guys with a teacher who cant understand me or me her….so nothing different there then.
We don’t poison anybody and have a laugh with our group that involves a Jewish Mosman Mum who is so full of herself its hilarious – she tries, once, to tell us what to do and then understands that we are one group that she cant boss around.
Back to Sarah and Dave’s for a few drinks, good blether and then overnight at theirs – Sarah hugs the heater again, she will get on with Fran.
