24th September – 1st October – Days 167 to 173
Hi all, yes I’m late for all you regular viewers of my travel exploits, I have no excuses outside of being rather busy.
Précis of week includes;
· Watching the Swans loose the Aussie No Rules final to the West Coast Eagle’s, (by a point, 85-84), in a Sydney Micro brewery Pub called The Red Oaks with Dave and Ben. They sell bottles of ‘Wee Heavy’ at 9% alcohol – outrageous.
· Watching the Broncos beat the Storm at the Telstra Stadium in the NRL Grande Final. Went with Mark, Dave D and Emily from work and was kindly entertained by Swan Services, (curtesy of a couple of swiped passes by Mr and Mrs Clugston…nice).
· Helping my boss Richard finish a new fence in one of his paddocks for his new horses, nice bit of physical, sun (burn) and banter with everybody who was helping.
· Seeing of Sarah Webb, FM divisional assistant, at the Opera Bar
Work is going well, although my e-mail address and business cards have changed yet again – poor trees.
Additionally I have moved units, down two floors, as the one I was in was sold – so I was demoted down to the 17th floor, new unit has the same furniture, layout and views so no real harm done.
Anyway short and sweet this week, the Blog that is -not me, will have a more fun packed update on Sunday next for you all – which may contain some exciting news, lets just say that the takings at the Rugby Club and central St Ives may increase sometime in the next month or so…..
See you all soon, I’m off to switch on the Air Conditioning!
