24th April - Day 13
Up and off to CBD after a surprise call from Fran, its wonderful to hear her voice and I wish she was here.
Have a meeting with Matt, Stockland cleaning, and spend the rest of the day on Stockland and other bits and pieces. Matt blames the British for the death of 1000’s of Aussies on Anzac Beach – Harsh but Fair…! Beer o’clock starts at about 3pm. (drink loads Stella x lots) and continues at the Art House with Peter, Sarah and later Dave. We drink too much, smoke an unhealthy amount and feast on Chips and Prawns.
We leave at about 12 and I walk home…no stagger. The journey takes 20 minutes longer as I take a number of unplanned detours.
