13th June – Day 63
CBD today, don’t feel 100% - coughing and sneezing badly – so cancel a number of meetings before being sent home with my germs. Sarah becomes Sister Bousfield and gives me a list of get well quick medicines and I leave with her instructions to go straight to the Pharmacy, do not pass go and do not collect $100. I do as she says and soon I rattle with potions etc.
Back at the unit I get a bit of work done but my foggy head soon puts an end to this and I go to bed to sweat the germs out.
Wake up at about 4pmish and get a bit more work done – don’t feel brilliant but get quite a bit done before I get back into bed which soon turns into a steam bath. Man Flu – if only woman knew how we suffer!
