The start of the Sydney to Hobbart race - a great sight if you remember your Sun Cream.
Believe it or not the runner is Andrew 'Joey' Jones of Rugby League Fame. Wrong strip and ball really - he was crap but the crowd enjoyed it. In fact he was so crap the crowd were offered $1000 if we caught a six from his bat - safe money then. (You won $100 if you caught a standard players ball in the stands!).
Cricket...no domestic not international. It was NSW v's Tassie and we had a good laugh with the gang, Dave, Sarah, Richard and Helen. Ross bought a replica Ashes Bat and was made up.
Sydney Symphony Orchestra open air in the Domain, the boys spent the night getting freebies and enjoyed the Fireworks, (have any of these songs been in the charts Dad?) Mum, Dad, Sarah and Dave, (and later Richard and Helen) enjoyed the wine, music and company.
