28th April - Day 17
Up early and hit CBD, late to the disapproval of Richard and mark after talking to Fran and Mum & Dad regarding John, everybody is so very sad and I am so far away. Late for the strategy meeting which I am not proud of but John’s death has hit me badly.
Richard leaves for a meeting and leaves Frank, Mark and I to finish up – overall a good but disjointed meeting – but I have clear responsibilities now which is good for me mentally.
At lunchtime I go and buy a card for Ann and also find some nice ones for Fran and the Boys.
Quiet afternoon and I decline offer to go to the boys poker night, feel that it is totally inappropriate for me to drink and gamble, (not big bucks), after the sad news that I received last night.
Phone Fran and Boys, Paul and Chris – good to talk to them all – lifts me.
Have a very quiet night, swim – no Gym and then to bed.
