3rd May - Day 22
Have a bit of a lay in, planned, as I have a meeting with the bank with a young lady who is rather helpful regarding my future options.
Next its off to the Pitt Street Office for the AMP Presentation – interesting, and I take over as the lack of sales skills is very evident – in stating this I witness a most excellent and knowledgeable delivery regarding MAS capability etc, but as I previously stated, the team lack sales and presentation skills, a skill base that I can provide the team with.
Next we have a BD teleconference with John Reynolds and some other MAS peeps. I find the thing very frustrating as there is no direction whatsoever being shown, no planning and no proper management of the prospects identified. We need to crystallise our offering and start marketing & selling the capability of MAS
I learn more about MAS and then realise the shortfalls of the office – no shredder, colour printer – no handouts available for the client – or projector. Presently they hire a crap basic unit for $130 a day which today had a dodgy bulb – deep joy. I decide that it is up to me to resolve the concern/shortfall of essential equipment.
Anyway rant over and so is my working day at about 6. I leave and hit Coles for some food shopping – boring. I get home, unpack and hit the Gym. Next I phone Mum and Dad for a chat and hit the sack.
